Partnership Bolsters Leadership Team to Provide Leading Integrated Performance Marketing Solutions
August 29, 2011. New York / Chicago / San Francisco. Ed Kats has been named President of MediaWhiz, a division of the newly formed SolutionSet MediaWhiz Partnership, effective immediately. Kats is an accomplished online media executive, having most recently served as executive vice president of performance marketing at MediaWhiz. Based in New York, Kats also becomes part of the SolutionSet MediaWhiz Partnership executive leadership team, reporting directly to Zain Raj, President and CEO of the Partnership.

The SolutionSet MediaWhiz Partnership leadership team oversees the agency’s five core competencies – relationship marketing, digital solutions, local marketing, data management and media services – and the integration of clients and services. In his new role, Kats will manage the agency’s suite of media services, driving product and client strategy, as well as the evolution of ROI marketing. He will partner with the other divisional presidents to lead client-based strategic initiatives and foster overall Partnership growth, while leveraging MediaWhiz’s email marketing, lead generation, social media, search marketing and display advertising capabilities.
A seasoned online media executive, Kats has held several senior positions in the online performance marketing space, helping industry leaders across several sectors including market research, finance, travel, education, and health and wellness. Prior to joining MediaWhiz, he was executive vice president of online marketer SilverCarrot in New York, where he created the vision for and led the development of their ad/offer optimization engine. Kats launched his career at Clear View Technologies (formerly ASCOP Corporation) in New York, where he created brand awareness, positioning and distribution strategies for leading brands including Hyundai, LG, Grundig, De’Longhi, Tyson Foods, Louis-Dreyfus and SKC.
