As managing director of MediaWhiz, a Matomy Media Group company, Tom Lanzetta oversees the company’s strategic initiatives, as well as its suite of performance marketing, SEO and affiliate network services. In this capacity, he fosters overall partnership growth with Matomy Media Group and its clients, leveraging MediaWhiz’s mobile marketing, email marketing, lead generation, social media, search marketing, SEO and display advertising capabilities.
Prior to being named MediaWhiz’s managing director in November 2013, Lanzetta served for more than six years as chief financial officer of MediaWhiz and was progressively promoted to take on the dual role of CFO and chief operating officer. In that capacity, he worked with the company’s executive team to set strategic goals for the business and ensure efficient and profitable operations.
Prior to joining MediaWhiz, Lanzetta spent nearly a decade at Agency.com (formerly Nasdaq: ACOM), a full-service interactive agency. At Agency.com he was aggressively promoted, spending his final years with the company as its COO. In that role, Lanzetta managed operations for Agency.com’s six worldwide offices and 500 employees. He also led a turnaround strategy that saw Agency.com bounce back from the dot-com crash of 2001, evidenced by the company regaining profitability and industry recognition. Prior to Agency.com, he was chief financial officer of Spiral Media, a startup boutique/interactive agency based in New York City.
Lanzetta holds a BBA in accounting from Baruch College. He began his career in public accounting and earned his CPA certification in 1991.
