As senior vice president of information technology at MediaWhiz, a Matomy Media Group company, Steve La Peruta is responsible for leading technology initiatives to support business objectives. In this capacity he partners with the executive management team and delivers the technology solutions that generate an optimum return on investment for the company. He leverages his experience in building strong cohesive teams that include IT operations, engineering, database services, application development, quality assurance and project management to support enhanced client delivery.
La Peruta joined MediaWhiz in March 2010. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the technology industry and has been responsible for developing and executing IT strategy across diverse organizations. La Peruta previously held technology leadership positions at Saveology, The Ultimate Software Group and Office Depot, among others. He has also led consulting practices for multiple channel partners, including Intel, Cisco and BellSouth.
La Peruta holds several industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), among others.
