As chief information officer of MediaWhiz, a Hyper Marketing Inc. agency, Abhijit Sanyal is responsible for all infrastructure and business technology development, operations and project management functions. His helps deliver business solutions that provide immediate competitive advantages, increase revenues through technology strategy definition and execution, build and run organizational transformation programs and create a technically proficient and business-savvy technology team.

Sanyal has been with MediaWhiz since November 2009. Before joining MediaWhiz, he was the managing director principal at Bear Stearns where he was charged with building and leading a global technology organization as well as managing a portfolio consisting of business-focused and enterprise-wide assets. In 1996, he designed and built Bear’s corporate eCommerce and Intranet architecture and infrastructure, driving its initial online presence.

Prior to Bear Stearns, Sanyal was a senior consultant with Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd. He developed a global platform for trade services and financing, implemented SEI-CMM model and facilitated SEI assessment.

Sanyal earned a B. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.
