Position Title: Junior Graphic Designer
Location: Florida

POSITION REPORTS TO: MediaWhiz Email General Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: N/A

POSITION PURPOSE: This position will be responsible for translating marketing ideas into graphics for use on the web and e-mail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Design stand alone e-mail creatives, websites and landing pages with input and direction form marketing and sales
Design front-end user interfaces and reports layout in HTML for business web applications optimized for ease of use
Create banners and creative for web publishing
Conduct market research and competitive analysis of products/offers, identify strengths and weaknesses and create effective design and concepts based on findings

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong HTML skills are required
Experience with design and layout of forms in HTML is preferred
Strong working knowledge of the following design and web publishing software is preferred: Adobe Photoshop; ImageReady; Illustrator; Dreamweaver; Quark or InDesign
Ability and desire to learn new Internet and authoring technologies relevant for website and e-mail development
Understanding of dynamic or active web content ideal
Should possess high energy, enthusiasm and great attention to detail
