AuctionAds Launches!

Readers, we are excited to announce the launch of AuctionAds!  This is a joint venture between ShoeMoney Media and MediaWhiz (TLA’s parent company).  AuctionAds is a simple to use, creative implementation of Ebay’s affiliate program.  You can see a live example of these ads on the left margin of this blog.

AuctionAds also allows website owners to make more money than going direct to Ebay’s program because we will be leveraging our scale against Ebay’s tiered payout system.  We also have baked an affiliate program right into the ads so if anyone clicks on your “Ads By AuctionAds” link on your ads and signs up, you stand to make a percentage of their revenues.  Try AuctionAds out and let me know below what you think, thx!

What is the commission structure that AuctionAds offers? It doesn't seem very clear from the site, just that you tap into the higher tiers of commissions by grouping ads into one account.

To qualify for higher earnings you really need to be driving a huge volume of traffic to Ebay via PPC, or have an exceptionally busy website. Any bonus income from a higher tier for me is just that, a bonus.

I have delved into the product fairly deeply. The biggest bonuses of the system are for international affiliates gaining access to the US, and things like Geo-targetting and easy of use.

There may also be some cashflow benefits though I am not sure how that works with the reporting cycles.

I covered these in greater detail in my review. I am definitely going to be using it.

It's not clear how the earnings are calculated. Could it be more specific?

The earnings are based on the normal Ebay earnings - for new Ebay members and for winning bids.

People who drive more traffic get better deals and some of that will be passed on to us, and some will be the AuctionAds cut.

Looks good.. but for some keywords.. its a bit hard to get the products.. example: cycling trailer.., hardcore music, specific categories etc..

Is there no possibility to make it this way that you only have to look at the eBay categories.. You fill in the specific categorie and get the products from a specific categorie at eBay.

It's a good concept for sure, but the woman wearing a thong picture I can see on your site right now as the photo for 10,000 links is a little bit amusing. I'm not sure some websites would want that sort of image being displayed on their site, especially for something that is so irrelevant to the photo. Is there any sort of policing set up for this type of activity?

Great idea, so I signed up and setup a campaign. It works! I love that the auctions are specific to keywords, that way I can offer great deals to my visitors.

I've just written a blog entry on AuctionAds on my blog. As part of the blog, I've also incorporated an AuctionAds live eBay Ad.

I'll admit that its quite easy to use. The payout is something I need to monitor over a period of time...
